Ways to aid this ministry include praying for this site www.TruthSeek.net, www.DeceivingtheElect.net, and www.DramaticParables.com, donations and provision may be gifted using the TruthSeekGift page (and please only use this if you feel you are inspired by God to do so), and also feel free to use the Prayer Request page to submit prayer requests, and praying for the prayer requests of others, as well as exploring the various advertisements and links on these pages (regrettably, the advertising is necessary to recompense the many costs of keeping a website running, so exploration of the advertisers, which are not connected to any of these studies, is greatly appreciated). Any aid is joyously accepted, even if that means a smile and a well-wish. Thank you so much!
I saw your site this evening and need to discuss this with you. Today I just got back from Columbus Ohio, from visiting Rod Parsley's church.
Until last night...I thought he was, well you know. I don't want to step on his anointing, if it is of God. I dont want to judge him, BUT...I believe the Word and it says to "try" those things that call themselves holy.
To be honest with you, I am hurt and confused. I went to his church to go to church. I left feeling like I had attended a broadway show. I feel foolish and feel like I have been had.
I dunno...I guess I just need to vent. But you would not believe what goes on. He even has body guards...if you are truly anointed...why body guards? I believe God takes care of His own. He acted more like a celebrity than a minister. He did not even have an altar call.
Oh well...i'll hush for now if u want details for your site, just ask
"Martha"
Further Details:
The restrooms were chained...not simply locked, but big chains were draped across the front so that no one dare to even try to use the bathroom without an usher or layleader aware of it.
We took a wheelchair bound elderly man with us. We were not allowed to push his "chariot of fire", an usher pushed him to where they wanted him to be...out of the way of the cameras, of course. God forbid the television audience see someone leave one of Rod's services like they came.
He had been pushed too close to the pew in front of him and he took off his wheelchair brake to move himself back a little (his knees were hitting the pew), and when he did an usher walked up behind him, pushed him back up and locked him down again. He sat there uncomfortable for the remainder of the service afraid to move.
We were told to TRY to use the restroom before service began, because we were not suppose to get up and exit during service. (as if we were children) The table of prayer requests were never prayed over during service as promised. No altar call was given.
The huge purple curtains raised, Rod controlled the service. A testimony was given and I stood along with others to praise God...Rod said "sit down", we did. I did out of fear that and usher would come and make me.
I believe that if one were able to come to repentance and want to go to the altar for prayer they would be stopped. Ushers, bodyguards, and even police patrolled the place all wearing ear pieces to communicate with one another.
We did MANAGE to get a deacon to pray for the man in the wheelchair, but before they would pray they needed to make sure he "sowed his seed", they were not going to pray otherwise.
I have many witnesses to this...print my name and email. I am not afraid of the truth.
