And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Isnt it interesting that we are told that where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
How is it that we are so driven for knowledge and yet at times neglect the greatest gift of God - love.
We are clearly told that knowledge will fail us, and yet we are driven and burdened to obtain it, while love on the other hand is so easily obtained. Far better then all knowledge is love that we are told that it never fails.
How heavy is the burden that we have needlessly carried?
What good will this knowledge serve us if we have no love?
We are told that there is no fear in love. That perfect love drives out fear.
Yet we seek knowledge. We tell ourselves that once we have obtain this secret knowledge fear will be beneath us. Yet the very word of God Almighty tells us otherwise. Love never fails.
Knowledge is good, but without love it will profit us nothing. I'm tired of being afraid and more than knowledge I desire love.
The Lord God told us that we would know The Truth and that The Truth would set us free. May I suggest that what we are seeking is love!
