Proud Grándmama, and a woman as physically and gutsily strong as any lumberjack or stevedore! She stood by during 21 hours of labor, applying counterpressure to her daughter's back with a tennis ball in a sock, getting only snatches of sleep, and tiny sips of water (I personally think she could run a marathon, or go toe-to-toe with Mike Tyson!). She also prayed the prayers of a powerful prayer warrior, bringing comfort and confidence throughout the ordeal.
