Is there a true church, or is one just as good as another? We don't have to worry about any

of this stuff, do we, because once we "get saved" that's about it, isn't it? It's good to send

our money to the televangelists, isn't it? Isn't "Prosperity" our goal and right, or did Jesus

preach a different sermon? The end-times, soon? Do we know the date?

sideshow freaks that practically demand your money. Some people, tragically, lose their

lives before learning the truth, and others must sadly sweep up the pieces of the broken

theology and the terrible consequences of believing the "creed of greed."

Perhaps you're better off in the New Age Movement, than in churches that are just as

New Age but call themselves "Christianity." Prosperity "theology," the movement of

the flesh that calls itself "Holy Ghost Empowered," focusing on yuppy joys as opposed to

Love and Peace and Joy and Faith. What a world, what a world, what a world.

almost exclusively the "way" it happens in modern New Age churches is for people to

gather about a person and "pray over" them. When the person doesn't immediately go

into unknown tongues the "prayers" get frustrated, and if the person generates the "gift"

themselves, everyone applauds and claims them "baptized by the Holy Ghost."

no such thing, and actually teaches the opposite. It is frustrating, overwhelmingly hard

to understand or accept -- and you've seen the product, the smug "pastors" and even

smugger "Christians," bragging about how they're going to laugh at those unsaved ones

who get tossed into hell. Where's the humility? The Logic? Decency? Biblical Doctrine?

After years, yeah, it took a long time, I began to see that "prophetic" words didn't seem

to give glory to God, only money and service to the pastors. When I started to ask them

serious questions about the Bible, they got a "word" that I was supposed to go to another

state to acquire a skill that was needed.

did what they called the "Christlike thing," they booted her out the door and refused to

communicate with her, even if they happened to see her on the street.

I gave thousands of dollars and kept on "casting my bread on the waters" - and it did come

home on every wave - until the waves became so furious I finally filed for bankruptcy! Well,

have him to grant their own desires and doesn't that conflict with God's will?The spirit of

deception is very real, using a false christian smokescreen to coerce God almighty and

Jesus into giving you what you want instead of accepting his authority.

a Christian becasue I'm not understanding any of this. I was told I could pray things to happen.

Pray people in and out of my life that I did or did not want in it, and a ton of other stuff. I even

remember sitting there listening one night and thinking.. Oh, I get it.. its just like fortune telling

we are driven and burdened to obtain it, while love on the other hand is so easily obtained.

Far better than all knowledge is love that we are told that it never fails.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest

I can't tell you how many times I have fell for things after listening to tapes, CDs and the timing

is perfect to find this because I just got done l istening to Andrew Wommack's CD on anger

management and was actually thinking about believing some of the stuff until I sat down and

thought about it. Anyone dying under the age 70, it was Satan? Many other really weird things.
