IK's mother sensed a dark spiritual cloud about her daughter as
the visiting speaker "prayed over" her -- in the ensuing days that
dark cloud would manifest in the troubles of several families. The only seeming freedom
came in denouncing the visitor's prayers before God. Be careful in allowing someone to
"pray over" you, or anyone's use of stage hypnostist tricks (I'm "getting" that someone out
there has an issue with their lungs! Anyone have a cold?) to impress an audience.

Marcia and her mother both felt funny about the traditions in
their life, and finally they turned to the Bible, and read it all the
way through, on their own, and what they read just didn't jibe with what "They" were teaching
as truth. God opened their hearts and minds to His truth, and suddenly the false formulas
didn't pack quite the same punch. Suddenly light came flooding in. You can be like Marcia
and her mother, and go to the Source of Truth, read His Word, for yourself!
T.D. went through the whole ordeal, starting out with a hunger
for God and trusting those that swore they were anointed and
"knew" Him. They taught her to "bypass the devil" to communicate directly with God (the
only problem was, she didn't know what she was "saying" to God, and in the end didn't
even begin to understand her relationship with "god"). With the help of a rock of a husband
she saw her way to the True God, and He set her free.
"Judith" cannot really talk to her family member that is heavily
involved in "Word-Faith" -- it's like talking to a child. Her family
member will "speak positively" even when the words coming out of her mouth are completely
false! When Judith was 15 three people from her "church" decided she needed to "come to
Jesus" and they surrounded her and began to chant for her to "let it go" and "speak his
language" -- it was the freakiest thing in her life!
"Raymond" forced himself to "believe" this junk for years, he even
taught it to others -- but in the end was forced to admit that it plain
just don't work! His ex-wife was circled by a bunch of chanters screaming at her to "Speak!"
as if they were holding a chunk of ham before a German Shepherd! Unfortunately, the
promised "Prosperity" just never arrived (the only ones getting rich were the Mega-Church
pastors). If you only turn to God, instead of "anointeds," you can see your way through.
A seasoned pastor gives his non-hysterical "take" on the "Word-
Faith" groups today. In his reasoning approach, he sees these
loud talkers as those that "walk in the flesh" more than any other groups. They talk the talk
but cannot walk the walk. The Spirit-filled walk, that is. They more rely on their senses than
on anything God says -- their lives do not reflect the power of the Holy Spirit, only a greed
and hunger for the flashy things of this world.
scream. Rod Parsley and his five-fold return, Kenneth Hagin and Copeland -- Jesus says,
clearly: DO NOT GO AND SEE THEM. And TBN puts it on like meat hanging in a
butcher shop. But you can't fool God, He knows their heart and their motives and WHY
Paul and Jan put these people on their TV show.
False teaching, slain in the spirt, TBN proudly and lovingly
displays it all for the world to see and laugh and sometimes
leave in them, and get nowhere near to the "stage." And people who come to these shows
leave feeling hurt, betrayed, and played. They come for the truth, and get nothing close to
the truth. If you've attended one of these "shows," read this first-hand account and see if it
gibes with your experience. And still, all the people scream and shout "Amen!"
The self-proclaimed "Man of God" tells people to sit down.
His bodyguards lurk close by. Those that come in wheelchairs
Is there a true church, or is one just as good as another? We don't have to worry about any
of this stuff, do we, because once we "get saved" that's about it, isn't it? It's good to send
our money to the televangelists, isn't it? Isn't "Prosperity" our goal and right, or did Jesus
preach a different sermon? The end-times, soon? Do we know the date?
What IS important today? Does anything go? Is anyone at all
accountable? Should we expose the wolves in sheep's clothing?
and Jesse Duplantis, Clarence McClendon, Rod Parsley and all those other circus
sideshow freaks that practically demand your money. Some people, tragically, lose their
lives before learning the truth, and others must sadly sweep up the pieces of the broken
theology and the terrible consequences of believing the "creed of greed."
The tragic trap of believing the lie "it ain't a moneh thang, it's
an obedience thang!" The kind of foul lie spouted by Joyce Meyer
Perhaps you're better off in the New Age Movement, than in churches that are just as
New Age but call themselves "Christianity." Prosperity "theology," the movement of
the flesh that calls itself "Holy Ghost Empowered," focusing on yuppy joys as opposed to
Love and Peace and Joy and Faith. What a world, what a world, what a world.
Ugly Christianity, those "perfect" people who smuggly flash
their "salvation" like a passcard to the better country clubs.
almost exclusively the "way" it happens in modern New Age churches is for people to
gather about a person and "pray over" them. When the person doesn't immediately go
into unknown tongues the "prayers" get frustrated, and if the person generates the "gift"
themselves, everyone applauds and claims them "baptized by the Holy Ghost."
The Bible teaches that it is the Holy Spirit Who decides which
gift goes to which believer (not the believers themselves), yet
no such thing, and actually teaches the opposite. It is frustrating, overwhelmingly hard
to understand or accept -- and you've seen the product, the smug "pastors" and even
smugger "Christians," bragging about how they're going to laugh at those unsaved ones
who get tossed into hell. Where's the humility? The Logic? Decency? Biblical Doctrine?
You've heard them too, the people who should know better,
claiming that we have an "immortal soul," when the Bible says
After years, yeah, it took a long time, I began to see that "prophetic" words didn't seem
to give glory to God, only money and service to the pastors. When I started to ask them
serious questions about the Bible, they got a "word" that I was supposed to go to another
state to acquire a skill that was needed.
A long hard journey, manipulated and all her money working
its way into their coffers. But they can't take her hunger for God.
established churches would be to bulldoze them all down and make their egotistical
leaders get real jobs. We are not to set a man on high, the results are all-too predictable!
It is far better to take care of the poor and the needy than sending a pastor on his 4th
vacation of the year! Spending on the poor, God's power and presence is awesome!
The two cornerstones of the Western church are Arrogance and
Avarice. The best thing that could happen to the organized
and when she didn't "speak in tongues" on cue or fall backward "slain in the spirit" they
claimed she didn't know God. When she questioned their doctrines and motives, they
did what they called the "Christlike thing," they booted her out the door and refused to
communicate with her, even if they happened to see her on the street.
They raised her on false doctrine, even becoming a stand-in
mum and dad, they allowed her to be abused, denied it happened
God was calling me to the ministry of a seer, like Bob Jones - the church's senior prophet.
I gave thousands of dollars and kept on "casting my bread on the waters" - and it did come
home on every wave - until the waves became so furious I finally filed for bankruptcy! Well,
you get the picture! What about that 100-fold Return?!?
spent five years involved in Kansas City Fellowship (Metro
Vineyard, as it was later called) and was told by the leadership
After watching Rod Parsley several times on television, I received
a vision of warning in my sleep about him. Morris along with Rod
Parsley are convincing believers that it is scriptual for man to take the "limits off God" and
have him to grant their own desires and doesn't that conflict with God's will? The spirit of
deception is very real, using a false christian smokescreen to coerce God almighty and
Jesus into giving you what you want instead of accepting his authority.
Charismatic chaos vs. the clear Word of God. I must admit though
I have enjoyed listening to Mark Chirona and Clarence McClendon
and TD Jakes a few times. Now, I almost feel sorry for them. I wouldn't want to be in their
shoes on judgment day, deceiving genuine believers by the millions while raking in the cash.
I don't lie to others and I don't steal, therefore, neither does anybody else. That was my feeling
most all my life, and it's still hard for me to come to grips with this.
raised Pentecostal and thought that she was doing God's will. I don't fault her. She was doing
the best she knew how to do. God bless her for that. One thing that both agreed on, something
very dangerous, deadly serious, was that black people were inferior to white people, that Ham
actually was turned into a black man and that they were to be slaves and servants.
We were taught early on that we are not supposed to question this
pastor or his wife. My mom went along with that because she had
A picture of Marilyn Hickey and her "generational anointing?" Or just
another occultic example of going the opposite way to scripture?
It has been a long road back from financial ruin; and I'm not there yet; I still had my home in the
east. The power of the "draw" to the services, the worship music; the "loud talking" of the
preachers must only have been a satanic, counterfeit anointing. I can't explain it any other way.
My first year there, I saw so many "flashly" Christians with huge, luxurious wardrobes and cars.
teachers and falser "prophets" would hit the BLING-BLING button on their portable cash
registers and accept Simon's money! Would you be shocked, if you heard a "pastor" asking
for seeds, promising miracles in return? Any day of the week, 24/7, the "false anointeds" are
raking in the money, promising God's miracles in return. Are you shocked?
The magician Simon came to the apostles and wanted to buy their
miraculous power, he wanted to "use" the Holy Spirit. Today's false
a Christian becasue I'm not understanding any of this. I was told I could pray things to happen.
Pray people in and out of my life that I did or did not want in it, and a ton of other stuff. I even
remember sitting there listening one night and thinking.. Oh, I get it.. its just like fortune telling
and casting spells, except it's God. Yep, I really thought that.
I thought something was wrong with me.. that I was not a Christian --
or I was not "getting this" and that maybe I just was not meant to be
give her last dime to them, copeland. She has never seen my sister's child, and never even
communicates with my sister because of her lifestyle. When I was 14 I was raped by a home
bible fellowship leader in Word of Faith. My mother thinks I am going to hell for abandoning my
"faith", but I have the Real faith now, and know my salvation is eternal.
My mother won't let a negative confession out of her mouth, although
she is very poor, she gives money, seed-faith, all the time, she would
My husband has this great analogy of life being a big puzzle. We get a piece that fits and we
think we are so hot. What idiots we can be. God sees the whole puzzle (He even has the box
top -- always a must in puzzle stuff) and we see one piece. Makes you think. Truth, it was like
I need to not only pursue it and even just live it. I need to commit to it.
We were supposed to just receive and we could test the spirits later.
RED FLAG!!! They kept saying LOVE but hatred spewed from them.
tired of seeing people INCORPORATE God into their live's instead of changing their live's for
God. And one more thing I'm so tired of hearing people say "Well I think" when I just want to
scream "Well guess what?? It ain't about what you think! It's about what God thinks!" Bible
studies where we never crack a Bible. Everyone sits around and says what they think.
So many people don't question anything, don't want to know or don't
want to rock the boat. But me I want to know the truth. I for one am
knowledge, it will pass away. How is it that we are so driven for knowledge and yet at times
neglect the greatest gift of God - love. We are clearly told that knowledge will fail us, and yet
we are driven and burdened to obtain it, while love on the other hand is so easily obtained.
Far better than all knowledge is love that we are told that it never fails.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest
of these is love. Isnt it interesting that we are told that where there is
I can't tell you how many times I have fell for things after listening to tapes, CDs and the timing
is perfect to find this because I just got done l istening to Andrew Wommack's CD on anger
management and was actually thinking about believing some of the stuff until I sat down and
thought about it. Anyone dying under the age 70, it was Satan? Many other really weird things.
There are some of us who have beeen Christians for many years,
totally are in love with Jesus and yet just don't think like we should.

doctrines of devils, going especially after the young people in the church. Little by little, slowly
