REMEMBER the Sabbath of the Lord thy God!
Sabbath Resources
The blatant deceivers, in their carnal lust to refute God's Holy Sabbath Day, and thus refute God Himself, will bend themselves grossly over backward to twist their subtle versions of the "truth." One of the grossest attempts to deceive you, and the easiliest seen through, is that "law" did not exist until Moses brought down the Ten Commandments graven on stone by the Finger of God. The scary thing is, people duped by these deceivers, don't bother to find out the truth for themselves, as easy as it is to find (and thus the deception passes onward, forward through time, the enemy's attempt to thwart the Will of God).
Did you know that the word "Truth" does not appear in the Bible until Genesis 24:7, when Abraham is very old and desires a good wife for his son Isaac? Can you even begin to imagine that TRUTH did not exist up until this point? That Adam and Eve didn't know about Truth, that Seth didn't know about Truth, that Noah didn't know about TRUTH?
They knew, as God always provides His Truth.
Think about it. If LAW doesn't exist, then sin couldn't possibly exist. So these deceivers are attempting to PROVE that sin didn't exist before Moses ascended Mt. Sinai.
IF the Bible teaches otherwise (that it was impossible to sin before Mt. Sinai), then what of these deceivers, and why do they weave their tangled webs? Ignorance, or deception? It is very easy indeed to go to the Bible and discover the TRUTH (as opposed to the Sabbath Refuters faulty TRUHT):

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be
accepted? and if thou doest not well,
sin lieth at the door. And unto thee
shall be his desire, and thou shalt
rule over him.
Genesis 4:7

With a single verse, the Sabbath Refuters' tangled skein of woven playing cards bursts into confetti. From Adam unto Moses, God made sure that every single person knew His will, fully. They knew the difference between good and evil. This was God talking to Cain, prior to Cain's sin of murdering his own brother. The Sabbath Refuter would reply "Hogwash! Humbug!" fully believing that Cain was not a sinner when he actually broke the law of God and murdered his own brother, because they claim that the law did not exist, that the Sabbath did not exist.

And on the seventh day God ended
His work which He had made; and
He rested on the seventh day from all
His work which He had made. And
God blessed the seventh day, and
sanctified it: because that in it He had
rested from all His work which God
created and made.
Genesis 2:2-3

The Sabbath Refuter claims that nobody knew about the Sabbath, despite the fact that here it is, in Genesis Chapter 2, listed with marriage. Is the Bible right, or wrong? It's very clear, isn't it? Then why do they attempt to muddy God's clarity? Here it is, God blessed the seventh day, not one day in seven, but the seventh, and He sanctified it. Do you believe it? What the Bible claims? Is it TRUTH?
Or the Sabbath Refuters TRUHT? (It's pretty close to the same thing, isn't it? but there's something a little off, something a little funny.)
At this point, the Sabbath Refuter is ripping out his thinning hair. He begins to sputter: "Old Testament! Jews! We ain't undah de law!" But while he rants and shrieks, let us continue to see if God's people actually did know His will:

Because that Abraham obeyed My voice,
and kept My charge, My commandments,
My statutes, and My laws.
Genesis 26:5

The poor bald Sabbath Refuter at this point has walked away, returning to his website to devise new plans on how to mislead God's people from obeying His voice. The law did not exist prior to Sinai? Here's some news, Abraham was after the flood, but around 500 years before Moses was born. Think about it, if God's laws did not exist, as the Bible here claims, then neither did God's voice exist, or His charge, His statutes, or His Commandments. Isn't that positively amazing? How clear and easy to understand is God's Word?
But what about PRIOR to Abraham, who lived a couple of generations AFTER the flood...?

Of every clean beast thou shalt take to
thee by sevens, the male and his female:
and of beasts that are not clean by two,
the male and his female.
Genesis 7:2

Noah knew. It's not hard to figure. God doesn't exist in man-made "dispensations." God told the people. God always tells His people. Noah knew.
Noah knew God's laws. God told Noah to bring the clean animals in SEVENs, while the unclean beasts would come in by simple pairs (the flood would destroy all plant life, crops, fruit-bearing trees, and thus God allowed man for the first time to eat meat, and if man had been allowed to eat unclean meat, that species of animal would have been unable to procreate and thus would be lost; God knows what He is doing, He doesn't do anything by accident!). Noah knew God's laws, and he obeyed His Commandments, as God's people have always done, and always will do!
Even the Sabbath Commandment, which existed from the beginning of the Earth, and prior to that it existed in Heaven -- it too was kept by the people of God (right now the Sabbath Refuter is sitting in the corner, his fingers in his ears, screaming: "LaLaLaLaLaLaLa!"), as before Moses ascended Sinai we have this:

And he said unto them, This is that which
the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest
of the Holy Sabbath unto the Lord: bake
that which ye will bake to day, and seethe
that ye will seethe; and that which
remaineth over lay up for you to be kept
until the morning.
Exodus 16:23

The Sabbath. Before the Law. Amazing? But at the time, at the writing of the Bible, deceivers were not attempting to discombobulate God's Holy Sabbath. Deceivers were not attempting to corrupt the Seventh into a man-determined "one in seven." God gave us His Holy Day, and He said REMEMBER, but the forgetfullness of today is a product of sin, not righteousness.

And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to
day is a Sabbath unto the Lord: to day ye
shall not find it in the field. Six days ye
shall gather it; but on the seventh day,
which is the Sabbath , in it there shall be
none. And it came to pass, that there
went out some of the people on the
seventh day for to gather, and they found
none. And the Lord said unto Moses, How
long refuse ye to keep My commandments
and My laws? See, for that the Lord hath
given you the Sabbath, therefore He giveth
you on the sixth day the bread of two
days; abide ye every man in his place, let
no man go out of his place on the seventh
day. So the people rested on the seventh day.
Exodus 16:25-30

The Bible is clear. The proof is here, the Sabbath always existed, long, long before the law was given on Mt. Sinai (and the law obviously existed before it was impressed upon the stone). And here too is PROOF positive that you don't pick and choose which day is the Sabbath. The children of Israel did not pick Monday or Tuesday, elsewise they would have gone hungry, as twice the amount of manna fell on Friday (at this point the Sabbath Refuter will begin to devise a new strategy to deceive his sheep, he'll say that Friday is REALLY the holy day, as twice the manna fell on Friday!).

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep
it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and
do all thy work: but the seventh day is
the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it
thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor
thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant,
nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor
thy stranger that is within thy gates: for
in six days the Lord made heaven and
earth, the sea, and all that in them is,
and rested the seventh day: wherefore
the Lord blessed the Sabbath day,
and hallowed it.
Exodus 20:8-11

The Sabbath Refuters and other deceivers will whine and complain that the Sabbath never existed until it was given to the "Jews" (by Jews, they usually mean people of the Bible, anyone prior to the crucifixion, and these deceivers usually mean the term in a very derogatory way). Yet here, in the heart of the Ten Commandments, the longest commandment, the one that begins with the word REMEMBER, this commandment itself points out WHEN God blessed the Seventh day, when He hallowed it. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the Seventh day, which is why He blessed the Sabbath Day. He rested on the Seventh day, and He blessed the Seventh day, it was and IS and forever will be the Sabbath day.
Amazing isn't it. Yet the Bible will not stop the Sabbath Refuter. The Holy Spirit will not stop the Sabbath Refuter, and other deceivers, in continuing their wanton destruction of Godly things, of God's will, of God's laws. At least their attempt to destroy these things. To change these things. To modify these things. To add on addendums and memos and improvements.
Of course, the thing of it is, these deceivers, and others, they cannot change God's Holy Day, not by committee, not by vote, not by legalistic exercises and martial drills in religiosity. They will attempt their "salvation by adherence to legalism," and yet they cannot change God's Will, nor His Word, nor His Law. It is HOLY. The claim to have "Bible Answers," and yet God's Word doesn't emerge from them.
They can't change the eternal things of God, and yet they sure will try. They will write foolish books about "The Lord's Day" and attempt to do the impossible. They will spend money on flashy websites with pink hearts to tear down what God established. But it won't work, will it?
They cannot do it, can they?
They cannot REMEMBER that which they have never known. They cannot forget that which they have never remembered.
Pray for them. There IS hope for them. With men? Sure it's impossible, their salvation. But with God all things are possible. Pray for them, these deceivers.
Pray for the Sabbath Refuters, while there is yet time.

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
Exodus 31:13

Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
Ezekiel 20:12

I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;  And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.  Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
Ezekiel 20:19-21

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Isaiah 66:22-24

The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.
I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.
Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
Psalms 119:110-119

Don't let anyone trick you out of the gift that God has given to you (don't step into the snare set by Sabbath Refuters, those that hate the Law of God -- don't entertain their "vain thoughts." God says: "Depart from me, ye evildoers." Instead, love His laws, for they are beautiful. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, much fine gold; sweeter also than honey, and the honeycomb.

Sabbath Thought #17

The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.
Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair.
They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.
They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them. How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don't let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Psalms 19:7-14
If ye then,
being evil,
know how
to give
good gifts
unto your
children,
how much
more shall
your Father
which is in
heaven give
good things
to them that
ask him?
Matthew 7:11

God gives us good gifts, He gave us the Sabbath, do you believe Him? Or is the Sabbath a day of dread, instead?
The Sabbath is our gift from God, the first gift in the Garden of Eden!
Do not err,
my beloved
brethren.
Every good
gift and
every
perfect gift
is from above,
and cometh
down from
the Father
of lights, with
whom is no
variableness,
neither shadow
of turning. Of
His own will
begat he us
with the Word
of Truth, that
we should be
a kind of
firstfruits
of His
creatures.
James 1:16-18

Make no mistake about it, God's Sabbath day, a gift to us, is a perfect gift, from the Father of lights, Who does not change, doesn't even hint at turning or changing!
The New Covenant:
For this is the
covenant that I
will make with
the house of
Israel after
those days,
saith the Lord;
I will put my
Laws into their
mind, and write
them in their
hearts:
and I will be to
them a God,
and they shall be
to me a people:
Hebrews 8:10

Are you a part of
the New Covenant?
Has God written
His laws, including
the Fourth Commandment,
in your heart? DId
He put His Sabbath
in your mind?
