I recently heard an "anointed teacher," one Albert Mohler, a "new and improved" Bible Answerman on the radio, and I was shocked to hear concise "doctrines of demons" coming out of his mouth, as he dextrously employed the Word of God to battle the Word of God. Guess what he was talking about, this "President" of the "Southern Baptist Theological Seminary," as he proved that the Word of God is fallible, via the Word of God?
Yes, he was busily destroying the Sabbath, and even had the audacity to state: "Sunday, the Lord's Day, becomes much more important than the Sabbath." Note, I state that he was "busily destroying the Sabbath," but of course I fully believe that what God has set in place, man, regardless of the girth of his belly, or the fancy appendages he applies to the end of his name, such as "President," cannot alter, not even a lick, the Word of God.
You've probably heard similar things before. I have too. And these Bible twisters always employ the Bible to prove that what the Bible says, just ain't so, because when you use the Bible, you can make the Bible say what it doesn't say, to profoundly alter and manipulate what it DOES say, and say clearly. I've said it before: "The Bible says REMEMBER, and they say -- insert the name of an anointed Bible teacher here -- forget it."
He said the usual things. Jesus fulfilled the Law, and so that's why we go to church on Sunday. The same old ridiculous things that you cannot find anywhere in the Bible. Jesus Himself said that He wouldn't change anything about the Law, not even the minute punctuation applied to the Hebrew letters, but "Presidents" of Baptist institutions know a whole lot more than Jesus, at least "apparently." But it is not apparent to me. Because the Bible claims that Jesus fulfilled the whole Law, even that the whole Law is just a shadow of the reality, but of course these facts in no way cancel out the reality of what God's Word says, and says clearly, and powerfully, and throughout the Bible. Murder is not A-okay now because Jesus fulfilled the law. Cheating on your wife is not super dandy now because "do not commit adultery" is a shadow of the reality to come.
From Genesis unto Revelation, the Word is clear that until EVERYthing is fulfilled, God's Word will be in place, and we KNOW that everything has not been fulfilled as yet, much of Matthew 24 has not happened as yet, as well as most of the Book of Revelation.
But then again, to be a Baptist doesn't mean the same thing it used to mean. Baptists used to know the Bible, and attempt to follow it. Nowadays, Baptists have fully embraced the cultic "Rapture" as presented in the fantasy "Left Behind" books, and so why should it surprise me when the great leader of the Baptists says that Sunday is more important than the Sabbath, God's Own Holy Day? Why should anything surprise me?
But then again, again, I am still surprised. Because nowhere does the Bible say that Sunday has replaced the Sabbath, or that Sunday has become the Sabbath, or that Sunday is more important than the Sabbath. If it had, any of that, don't you think that the Bible would state it, and state it clearly?
And yet these deceivers always run back to their: "The Disciples made the decision to change the Sabbath." Not true, at least it is not stated in the Bible. "The Apostles changed the Sabbath." Not true, at least it is not stated in God's Word. "The Church Fathers, more than 100 years after the crucifixion, gradually changed the Sabbath, because they wanted to separate themselves from the Jews, and as time passed blatant anti-Semitism took over the church, and pushed people, Christians, and so-called Christians, farther and farther away from what the Bible actually said, and clearly commanded." Yes, sadly, this is the truth, even though it is not stated in the Bible (because, duh, it took place hundreds of years after the very last Bible writer died).
Even as I sit here, the brainiac powers that be, those that are interested in POWER in all capital letters, those that fly by stealth and call themselves "The Family" and "The Brotherhood," they are altering our very calendar, much as the great brains in Russia and Italy have already done. And these great brains have figured out the Bible. They will tell you that they know. They will nod wisely. And they will "descramble" the Bible for you, lay it out like "the lord" intended, all the while turning the meaning of the Bible completely around. Great men such as Hank Hanegraaff and even Lee Strobel, are ever vigilant in telling you why this new and improved Christianity is so much better than what the Bible actually, clearly, powerfully states. More and more Albert Mohlers will be stepping up to the plate to teach you confusing "Ways of the Master," why you are free, free, free from God's Word, and its blessings, why the Law Law Law is bad, and why the New and Improved Law is goood, goood, goood.
Yes, even "good" has been improved.
Despite what deceivers tell you on Sunday morning, Jesus absolutely never said a Word against the Sabbath. That sounds shocking to you, because "anointed ones" have told you other truths, haven't they? But the plain and simple truth is that Jesus only spoke against the false rules and man-made laws that well-intentioned men wound about the Sabbath, like strings around a golden apple. Yes, even back in Jesus' day, there were "Bible Answermen" such as Albert Mohler and Hank Hanegraaff, so busily winding strings of man-made laws about the golden apple of the Sabbath.
Think about it. Why in the world would God, instituting the Sabbath for man, at the Creation of the World, why would He later cast away, and not even tell us about it? Does that make any kind of sense?
Bitter people, full of hate, will snarl at you: "The Sabbath? That ain't for Christians! We're under the NEW COVENANT. Why, that there ole Sabbath was for them JEWS!"
Are you under the New Covenant? Are you?
But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.
If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it. But when God found fault with the people, he said: "The day is coming, says the Lord, when I will make a New Covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and led them out of the land of Egypt. They did not remain faithful to my covenant, so I turned my back on them, says the Lord.
But this is the New Covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, 'You should know the Lord.' For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.
And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins."
When God speaks of a "new" covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.
Hebrews 8:6-13
The New Covenant, as presented in the Bible, is nothing remotely like what the Bible Answermen "teach" you, is it? They say it is "freedom from the law," whereas God Himself calls it "the Law of Freedom!" Read James 1:25, it should be eye-opening. As well as James 2:12. Here, I'll make it easy on you:
But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don't forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
James 1:25
For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God's laws. For the same God who said, "You must not commit adultery," also said, "You must not murder." So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law.
So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets you free. There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.
James 2:10-13
The Law that sets you free, the Law of Freedom, God Himself says He will write this Law in your heart, and in your mind. Albert Mohler and Hank Hanegraaff and almost all the popular "teachers" of today teach something different. They will say you don't need to keep the Sabbath. God says that He will write the Sabbath in hearts and minds of those under the New Covenant. Are you of the House of Israel?
Tell the people of Israel: 'Be careful to keep my Sabbath day, for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you from generation to generation. It is given so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.'
Exodus 31:13
The New Covenant is with the House of Israel, and God in His Word claims that the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant. Is that true?
And I gave them my Sabbath days of rest as a sign between them and me. It was to remind them that I am the Lord, who had set them apart to be holy.
Ezekiel 20:12
The New Covenant is with the House of Israel, and the Sabbath is the Sign of Israel, and it is NOT a day of burden, or sadness, or grimness, or heavy rules. God says it is a day of DELIGHT. It is good news. The Sabbath was instituted by God at the beginning of the world, BEFORE sin had entered the picture! The Sabbath is not about sin, and death, but about rest, and life!
So the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed.
On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work.
And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.
Genesis 2:1-3
It is so simple, anyone can understand it. And yet the false teachers will produce volumes and volumes of "work" to teach you that God-given rest is not for you, or it has been changed by man, it is new and improved. That when God blessed a certain day, the false teachers claim YOU can pick and choose the day, or spread it over the week.
Then God gave the people all these instructions:
"I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery. You must not have any other god but me.
"You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.
"You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
"Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work,
but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.
"Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
"You must not murder.
"You must not commit adultery.
"You must not steal.
"You must not testify falsely against your neighbor.
"You must not covet your neighbor's house. You must not covet your neighbor's wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor."
When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram's horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear.
Exodus 20:1-18
This stuff isn't confusing. It is clear. Straight from the Word of God. Think about it. Right here in the Ten Commandments God says: "I set My day apart, My Holy day, and it is for you, and it is blessed, it is holy." God devoted more text and clear-cut instruction regarding His Fourth Commandment and yet this is the Commandment of God that false teachers attack with religious fervor.
God says, this is yours, do it. It is for you. It is to make you happy, this Law of Freedom.
They say: "If you obey God, you are a cultist!" and "You are free from what God gave you!"
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
"If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord's holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob."
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Isaiah 58:11-14
The Bible says that nothing was created that Jesus didn't have His part in, and that includes the Sabbath. God to Jesus, He promises to give you REST. It is yours, today. This rest is available, TODAY. Don't worry about me, or trust in me, I'm not even part of the equation when it comes to YOU and God.
Go to Jesus. You can trust Him. He is the best and in my book the only True Bible Answerman:
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read.
Luke 4:14-16

Don't let anyone trick you out of the gift that God has given to you (don't step into the snare set by Sabbath Refuters, those that hate the Law of God -- don't entertain their "vain thoughts." God says: "Depart from me, ye evildoers." Instead, love His laws, for they are beautiful. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, much fine gold; sweeter also than honey, and the honeycomb. If your favorite "teacher" displays a hatred for God's laws, open your eyes, WAKE UP, and don't go there, don't go and see them, these deceivers who claim to be "Christ," anointed.
The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.
Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair.
They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.
They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them. How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don't let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Psalms 19:7-14
