Following are simple, clear thoughts on God's Sabbath. Nothing negative. It ain't about God getting mad at you, it ain't about what you shouldn't do, do's and don'ts, it really is about DELIGHT, and peace, and rest in God! And it is already yours, and you don't have to get anyone's permission, or invest a seed, or do "flesh-ups," or "git all legalistic about it."
It is a gift and it is yours and it is FREE, absolutely FREE.
Forget what the deceivers say, don't let them rob you of what you already OWN! It is yours, a FREE Gift from God Himself! Just go by what the Bible says about the Sabbath, it's as easy as that, really. Because the Bible is open, clear and simple in its handling of the Sabbath, the Seventh Day of the Week, especially the New Testament! Did you know there is more positive in the New Testament than in the Old Testament! Did you know it was Jesus' Tradition to go to the Synagogue on the Sabbath and read the Scriptures? Did you know we are told to follow His example?
And yet false teachers will whisper in your ear: "You are liberated from this gift. You don't want it. We got something much, much better, something men made that is better than what God gave!"
Trust God, and His Word. Forget the false gurus.
Why the Seventh Day? Why Remember? Does God Care? How in the world did it get to be called "holy" anyway?
The Spirit of the Law vs. the Letter of the Law? Rest, why Rest? Does God change? Does He make mistakes?
Why do people -- especially some "Christians" -- become engraged at mention of the word "Sabbath?"
One man considers one day special, while another considers every day alike. Proof FOR or AGAINST Sunday "holiness?"
A WAR on Christmas...? Really? But there is no mention of Christmas in the Bible. What about the war on Sabbath?
